Seattle, WA, November 18th, 2016 – AudioControl (audiocontrol.com), makers of innovative high-performance audio solutions for the residential, commercial and automotive markets is now shipping the DM-810 DSP matrix processor for automotive sound systems to dealers worldwide. The DM-810 gives installers a revolutionary user interface, greatly simplifying the process of optimizing system performance and delivering the finest automotive sound to consumers.
The AudioControl DM-810, designed, engineered and manufactured in the USA, features AudioControl’s new DSP software platform, delivering its new ‘Smart-user’ interface ergonomically designed to dramatically simplify the user experience for installers. AudioControl’s intuitive DSP PC interface is packed full of features including 30-bands of EQ adjustment, parametric filters, signal time-alignment, input delay, phase correction, patented AudioControl AccuBASS®, GTO turn on circuit as well as integrated input and output Real Time Analyzers (RTA’s). The DM-810 also incorporates a connectivity port that will allow users to program DSP features using Android or iOS devices, as well as stream media including high-quality audio via an optional AudioControl Bluetooth device.
The DM-810 has eight active high-level speaker inputs, six pre-amp inputs, and two digital inputs plus ten pre-amp outputs. “Our customers have been asking for a powerful DSP-based processor that can accommodate both factory and aftermarket interface scenarios, and we are thrilled to be delivering that solution now,” commented Chris Bennett, AudioControl’s National Sales Manager of Mobile Electronics. AudioControl Awarded Patent for Revolutionary AccuBASS® Technology
New intelligent bass compensation circuit available in a wide range of car and home products including the award-winning AudioControl DM-810 digital signal processor
Seattle, WA, November 17th, 2016 – AudioControl (audiocontrol.com), makers of innovative high-performance audio solutions for the residential, commercial and automotive markets has been awarded a patent (U.S. Patent # is 9,225,305) for their innovative AccuBASS technology for both automotive and home audio applications. AccuBASS technology has been designed to give listeners a highly accurate representation of the low frequency range (50 Hz to 125 Hz) of any recording and is featured in several AudioControl products including the newly launched DM-810, the latest in digital signal processing for OEM automotive sound systems, and a CTA Innovations Award Honoree.

In the majority of factory installed automotive sound systems, bass content is automatically reduced by circuitry in the audio electronics as volume is increased by the listener to reduce stress on the speakers. The AccuBASS circuit is an unprecedented smart technology that has been designed to seamlessly apply bass compensation only when required in order to restore the bass to its proper level within the recording. This provides aftermarket car audio retailers with a system upgrade path while retaining the car’s factory radio and related audio electronics. The AccuBASS technology remains true to the bass content in the original recording, activating only when it senses that the bass in the factory system begins rolling off. As a result of this patented engineering achievement, listeners can now enjoy smooth, accurate bass response at all system volumes. The Director® Model M6800 Matrix Amplifier from AudioControl is the first of its kind and one of the highest power, most flexible amplifiers designed exclusively for the custom-install market. The Director Model M6800, part of AudioControl’s new Matrix M-Series builds upon the success of AudioControl’s ‘The Director®’ Series driving 16-channels of high-power amplification in a compact 2U chassis that delivers over 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms, 200 watts per channel at 4 ohms and 400 watts at 8 ohms bridged, all channels driven.
The M6800 features on-board digital signal processing, graphic & parametric equalization by zone, network monitoring and programming, digital and analog inputs, plus the addition of Volume Control, channel/zone grouping and zone audio presets. It also allows individual channel and zone selection via standard TCP/IP, the ability to bridge into low impedance, delivering incredible power and AudioControl’s legendary audio performance.
The AudioControl Director® series is always in control, communicating with the network and producing great audio. The Director Model M6800 harnesses the power of DSP processing to enable full matrix flexibility of any input to any output. The matrixing capabilities of the Director ‘M’ series allow any of eight analog or two digital inputs to be routed to any zone output.
The Director Model M6800 includes two digital Optical TOSLINK inputs plus two coax outputs that are included in the matrixing so that any one of the input sources can be routed through the digital outputs. These digital outputs can be connected to Director ‘M’ series digital inputs so that multiple amplifiers can receive any signal from any inputs. The Director Model M6800 has the benefit of operating either as a standalone matrix-amplifier or as part of a 3rd party control system from companies including Crestron, Savant, RTI or Control 4.

AudioControl will be unveiling its new series of high-power multi-channel distributed audio amplifiers, the Architect ‘P’ Series at Integrated Systems Europe 2016 (ISE) in Amsterdam from February 9th-12th, booth 1-P92. The new Architect Performance ‘P’ series represents the latest addition to AudioControl’s highly successful Architect multi-channel amplifier line-up.
The Architect ‘P’ Series superbly complements AudioControl’s popular high-power Architect multi-zone amplifier series with an industry leading 100 Watts per channel solution, skillfully engineered into a 2U Chassis. These new models are available with 12 or 16-channels and are designed and manufactured in the USA exclusively for the custom-installation market. Both models are available with or without AudioControl’s equalization controls depending on the needs of the project.
The Architect ‘P’ Series delivers over 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 200 watts per channel into 4 ohms; all channels driven. Additional adjoining channels can be bridged to output over 350 watts. The Architect ‘P’ Series uses a cool running proprietary design, including AudioControl’s LightDrive™ anti-clipping protection, input bussing capability, output pass-thru, master 12v trigger in/out plus local 12v trigger inputs on all zones, signal sensing as well as introducing additional digital inputs through a SPDIF input for digital sources.
The Architect ‘P’ series is available in a robust espresso black finish and is designed, engineered and manufactured in USA.. AudioControl has announced four new Architect ‘P’ Series models. These models are the Architect P2680 EQ (16 Channels, 100w, Equalization), the Architect P2660 (16 Channels, 100w), the Architect P2280 EQ (12 Channels, 100w, Equalization), the Architect P2260 (16 Channels, 100w).
