AccuBASS™ vs. The Epicenter®

For years now, AudioControl has been well known for designing the original and most popular Digital Bass Restoration Processor, The Epicenter®. More recently we developed the clever AccuBASS™ circuit to address the idiosyncratic (idiotic?) bass rolloff found on some factory sound systems as you turn the volume up.

To the newcomer, the differences between these two powerful features may not be clear. We’re often asked whether The Epicenter® or a product with AccuBASS™ is the correct solution for a given application.
